I am pleased to inform you that the Rational’s VoiCE of the Client Event (VoiCE), which is planned to be held on Tuesday, August 09th in Bangalore , a one-day event hosted by Rational’s Client Program team will provide you with the opportunity to meet directly with key leaders and decision makers from IBM. You can take advantage of this opportunity to influence the direction of Rational products, and interact with other clients from the Rational community.
The event takes place immediately preceding IBM Innovate 2011: The Rational Software Conference (August 10 – 11 in Bangalore and Aug 11 in Delhi).
The VoiCE sessions center on candid discussions with Rational clients who are forward-thinking, innovative, and have a desire to influence Rational’s products, strategy, and business decisions. The sessions provide you with the following benefits:
· Significant input into steering product direction
· Access to key decision makers within IBM Rational
· Influence over product capabilities, enhancements and support
· Insight into IBM Rational development plans
This will be an interactive session to discuss and get feedback on the latest releases and roadmap for Rational Rhapsody . We will introduce Rational Design Manager which focuses on aspects of how we are integrating design and development into the overall application lifecycle using the Jazz platform to improve collaboration, sharing and oversight of application architectures. The session will be a technical deep dive for MDD and MBSE with Rational Rhapsody and giving an overview of the product roadmaps, with discussion of user scenarios, requirements, integrations, and use cases.
The session will be conducted by Eran Gery IBM Distinguished Engineer for Systems Solutions Development and a senior development manager and the principal architect of the Rhapsody product at IBM Rational Software.
Eran has over 20 years of experience within the modeling and embedded systems domains. Eran has also taken a key role in the UML and SysML specification teams in the OMG. Eran’s main focus areas are Systems Engineering, Model Driven Development, and Engineering Lifecycle Management. Early in his career Eran was an embedded software engineer at a major defense supplier. Eran holds an MSc degree in computer science from the Technion , Israel Institute of Technology.

These VoiCE sessions will focus on the future direction of Rational products and product requirements. We will also include follow-up information from previous VoiCE discussions. Because of the confidential nature of the topics discussed at VoiCE, you can only attend VoiCE after a nondisclosure agreement (NDA) is in place between client company and IBM. The VoiCE team will assist with this process as soon as we receive a registration.
